"Cherry trees in bloom along the embankment of the tama river" - This tenugui is a Ukiyo-e from the collection of the Great One Hundred Famous Views of Edo by Hiroshige Utagawa (1797-1858). It is a view of the cherry blossom along with the Tama river in Tokyo. It was one of the best artwork from Hiroshige's late collection. Hiroshige left us the last great artwork "Ukiyo-e" and also was a poet; "I leave my brush in the East. And set forth on my journey. I shall see the famous places in the Western land."
This tenugui uses chusen method hand-dye.
