This tenugui is a Ukiyo-e from the collection of the Great One Hundred Famous Views of Edo by Hiroshige Utagawa (1797-1858). It is a picture of white plum trees blooming in the mansion's garden, The mansion is called Kameido Ume Yashiki located in Kameido, Tokyo. Hiroshige left us the last great artwork "Ukiyo-e" and also was a poet; "I leave my brush in the East. And set forth on my journey. I shall see the famous places in the Western land."
This tenugui uses chusen method hand-dye.
