Wuhao newyork Tenugui is 100% cotton, and was individually hand made in Japan by traditionally trained craftsmen. Therefore, each Tenugui is unique and will vary slightly in both size and color from any other Tenugui. Tenugui was dyed using a special method, and the colors will fade after washing. Since each Tenugui is cut individually by hand and is not hemmed, you will find that the ends of each side may be wavy. Because they are no folding hems, Tenugui dry equally from top to bottom, based on Japanese traditional technique.
