Saturday, March 16th, 2013

SAKURA SAKU – means Cherry Flower Bloom, we uses this expression for notice a good news, like a exam. The opposed expression is SAKURA CHIRU – Cherry Flower fall down.

SAKURA (Cherry Blossom) is a very special flower for all Japanese people. Waiting first bloom during a long winter season,? welcome and celebrate new season and new life with SAKURA each year.

The beauty is in that difference… waiting for first bloom of SAKURA in NYC :-)

We had Tea and Tenugui event at in pursuit of Tea on 5/11 (Wednesday). It was one of the nicest days of the year. I specially picked Spring Bloom Tenugui?for the event. The colors of Tenugui had brightened up their brick walls, and?I really enjoyed displaying them.

Sebastian chose Japanese green tea?for the event, and all visitors tried Sen-cha, Kuki-cha, and Genmai-cha from small tea manufactures, which is not easy to buy in New York!

?

many tea lovers came to the event, and they enjoyed my Tenugui display as well!

Many tea lovers came to the event, and some of them have never seen Tenugui before. I surely enjoyed the time with them, and all of us almost forgot time there.

Always welcome and nicely, slowly… Time is passing?at in pursuit of Tea SOHO shop. I love their shop very much. Give me a nice sigh with a cup of Tea, bring me in to the Tea World. No matter what, let?my busy mind go?a moment in in pursuit of Tea…? Please stop by if you are around Crosby street!

We will have Tea and Tenugui event monthly, and our next event will be in July. I can’t wait to show you another TT (Tea and Tenugui) collaboration very soon!

Thank you Ana and Sebastian for giving me this special opportunity to introduce Tenugui to Tea lovers, and making Tea and Tenugui come together!!!

thank-you
