Tenugui mumbling Vol.82 – Parkour the Art of Action

Sunday, January 2nd, 2011

Jereme is one of a first practitioners of Parkour in the Texas area, having started in 2004. His experience and unique style has given him the opportunity to do many performances and workshops for Parkour all over the world on behalf of American Parkour and their Performance team The Tribe. He also is the first traceur(practitioner of Parkour) to start public classes in the San Antonio area through Primal Fitness, the first Parkour gym in the world!

One day, I received an e-mail from Jereme, and introduced me about Parkour. I was totally amazed his parkour training, like a ninja, like a?superman.? Jumping from the wall to wall, He is like a bird… climbing trees… like a Leopards. It’s totally the ARTS OF ACTION.

Jereme is a Tenugui Fan as well! He said that Tenugui is a perfect head cover during his parkour practice.
We are very pleased to be his Tenugui sponser from New Year 2011!?

Check it out his amazing parkour training with his Tenugui at our site!

Do you know?about “Freestyle Rolling”??

I just received great photos from Tenugui lovers Tito who does Freestyle Rolling. I didn’t know anything about this new sport, so I checked their web-site www.irollny.com
WOW!!! They are amazing!!!! Action, vision, style and music… all mingled together, it’s Art of Rolling!

Tito sent me a sweet tenugui story, so I would like to share it with y’all;

“I lived in Minami-Uonuma, Niigata Japan for two years as an english teacher for elementary and junior high school students. Those were the best two years of my life!
One day, a friend gave me a tenugui as a present, and from that day on I never took it off!
I really love wearing my tenuguis even here in New York City.
Most people do not know about it, so they always ask me,
“why are you wearing a towel on your head?”
It’s really good conversation starter, and it gives me a chance to live and share my love of Japan and it’s people with native New Yorkers. It connects me to Japan, and besides that I just think its looks COOL!”

Thank you, Tito for sharing your Tenugui story!
Yes, you are very cool with your Tenugui, and your Freestyle Rolling!!!!
